Hunting Island State Park
I know this has nothing to do with graduation but if you're not
from the coast and you have some time after Family Day or on Friday,
you might want to visit Hunting Island State Park. It has a beautiful
shoreline and a lighthouse that is open to the public.
Pictured left is an 84 year-old gentleman from New Hampshire, by the name
of Arthur I believe, who had just finished climbing to the top of the
lighthouse (167 steps), so it's definitely something for everyone to enjoy.
Driving Directions: Hunting Island is 16 miles east of Beaufort on Hwy.
21 or 42 mi. E. of I-95 on Hwy 21.
