Be advised though, it is
about an hour from Parris Island. Nevertheless, if you would like to take
some time to enjoy your trip or drive time is not a concern then Park
Lane is a great choice! Be sure to call 1-877-247-3491 to make your reservation
so you'll get the appropriate discount.

it is about an hour from Parris Island; however, the quality of service
and amenities, especially for the discounts they give you are, in my opinion,
worth the trip. It is within walking distance to the beach and over 60

so you'll get the appropriate discount.
Crowne
Plaza Hilton Head Island Beach Resort
Crowne Plaza Hilton Head Island Beach Resort is a special slice of Southern
Hospitality who supports our Military Men and Women and offers discounts
to those families attending the graduation. Rates from $136 per night
are very generous for this hotel. It's got everything you need and with
all the amenities it will definitely make your trip to graduation most

The Fairfield
Inn by Marriott Hilton Head/Bluffton
The Fairfield Inn by Marriott Hilton Head/Bluffton is close to Parris
Island and has offerred Marine Family Discounts since I can remember.
They make sure your stay is exactly what you need and expect while you
await the big day. According to live.com they are 22 miles and 32 minutes

The
Inn at Town Center
Finally, a hotel in Beaufort that offers discounts to families in town
for the graduation. They have undergone 4 million dollars in renovations
and are now ready to make your stay fabulous! They are located 6.5 miles
from Parris Island and offer a 10% discount to you. The Beaufort County
Visitor's Center is on site, as well as a restaurant and an outdoor pool.

Hilton Garden Inn Beaufort
The Hilton Garden Inn Beaufort is now offering discounts to Marine Families!
They are located just 3 miles from Parris Island, a welcome thought when
it's 6 a.m. on Thursday morning and everyone seems to be running late.

The Beaufort
Inn
The Beaufort Inn is 6 miles from Parris Island according to local sources
in the area and is one of the few in Beaufort offering Marine Family Discounts
(only three that I know of and they're all on this page). All guest rooms
are uniquely decorated in a classic style that compliments the history
of the Inn, but also offer modern-day amenities; in other words, each
one is different and something you'll definitely remember about your trip.

Rental Home
If you need more than just one motel room you might want to look
into a home that is available for rent in Downtown Beaufort (very nice
area). The home has 4 bedrooms and 3 baths plus convertible beds if needed.

On Base Facilites:
 Lodging
on base is available to the families at a very reasonable rate, however,
they have a very limited number of rooms available. Do not count on a
room on base. You might want to reserve a room somewhere else some time
in advance and if you get a room on base you can always cancel your other
reservation. Just make sure you note their cancellation policy before
you reserve a room.
Please note the toll-free numbers listed below and call the facilities
for more information. The rooms go very quickly so be sure and make the
call just as soon as they start taking reservations for that particular
week. I have no first-hand knowledge of them but I understand they are
very nice.
Please take the information about making a reservation elsewhere early
on seriously! Here is a story from a father who counted on the on-base
housing:
"While planning for my sons graduation I was intent to get on
the base housing and very well prepared to begin calling as the on base
housing only takes reservations 14 or 15 days before Graduation date.
I did not any contingencies and was shocked when I started calling @ 8:59
to get in. I was put on hold by auto voice and stayed there with recurring
message of we are helping other customers please be patient.
I stayed on the phone waiting for 1hr 40 minutes and gave up. I even pulled
out the other 3 cell phones in the household and had the same results.
I am telling you this as now I had to get accommodations and nothing closer
than 20 miles was available. If others do the same, I suggest confirming
closer housing and cancel if they are able to get on base."
