HOW TO DETERMINE WHEN YOUR RECRUIT WILL GRADUATE

Approximately two to three weeks after your Recruit leaves for bootcamp you will receive a postcard in the mail, probably green. It will advise you of your Recruit's mailing address so you can start mailing letters to him or her.

The address will contain your Recruit's Battalion number, Company, and Platoon number. Please note the information and visit the graduation dates page at the Parris Island Depot site for the most up-to-date schedules.

If you have not already visited the airlines page, please do so before making any travel arrangements, especially airline tickets.

Below are the shipping dates and graduation dates for the remaining 2013 graduations. A ship date is the day your recruit left for boot camp. Do not mistake the ship date for the graduation date!

The 2014 graduation schedule has been posted. The complete ship date/graduation date schedule will be posted when it becomes available.

*Note: Ship dates and grad dates could change throughout the year based on class sizes and the recruiting mission of the Marine Corps. Ship dates are all depicted as Sundays, but you may leave your Recruiting Station as early as Saturday or as late as Tuesday on your shipping week depending on how far you live from MCRD Parris Island and the mode of transportation the Marine Corps is using to get you there.

Dates are subject to change!
